We are searching a CFO

Rayong, Thailand / partly Malaysia

For our client in the automotive industry we are looking for a CFO

Objective of the Position

 This role is leading the Finance, Controlling & IT for the company, based in Rayong and need frequently travel to Malaysia. The regional responsibility includes 2 production facilities, one in Thailand and one in Malaysia. The two sites will be for approx. 35 Mio. EUR net sales, with strong growth for the upcoming years.

 Accountabilities

·     Lead and direct all internal financial areas, including program controlling & costing, management accounting, tax, internal control, business planning, monthly and yearly closing, budget/rolling forecast preparation and tracking and risk management

·       Maintain and optimize the financial process and procedures, to ensure a timely and appropriate accounting of the company

·       Familiar with IFRS in cooperation with group accounting

·       Be able to understand products and business process of exhaust manufacturing after training

·       Ensure an efficient CAPEX & Working Capital management

·       Drive operational improvement projects & support further footprint expansion, by providing reliable business planning

·       Working in & moderating cross functional teams, assist managers/executives to understand basic costing, cost control, and deeply involve in VAVE activity

·       Close cooperation with peers in global networks & division controlling functions

·    Ensure that all systems (financial and operational) provide accurate, timely and meaningful data (reporting, comments, KPI, etc.) for management action and decision making

·       Ensure timely reporting to mother companies & preparation of monthly earning call

·      Monitor and analyze financial figures to highlight company’s financial performance and risks if any, and actively seek business improvements through working closely together with the key stakeholders

·       Make sure that the business operations comply with the company’s policies and procedures as well as local regulations and legislations

·       Lead IT & ERP team

·       Liaison with government authorities whenever there are queries in the areas of finance and accounting.

·       Provide leadership to coach and motivate the teams with a focus on developing them further

Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

Possess over 10 years’ working experience in the financial and controlling management including at least 3-5 years in leadership role

Studies of Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.

  • Knowledgeable of ERP systems, hands-on experience with Oracle or SAP will be an advantage
  • High intercultural competence, experience in Thailand and Malaysia
  • Distinctive logical and analytical ability to reason
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well with employees at all levels within the organization both local and overseas
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, mature, assertive with a high level of integrity
  • Leadership skills – coach don’t tell
  • English business fluent
